Probably the most intriguing NBA game scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, will be played in Los Angeles, so make sure you check out the best Warriors vs. Clippers betting pick and odds.

Los Angeles is hoping for the fourth straight victory when they welcome Golden State at Crypto.com Arena. The Clippers are -2.5 favorites on Bovada Sportsbook, while the total is set at 234 points. These Pacific Division foes will face for the fourth time this season; the Warriors lead the series 2-1.

Warriors beat the Suns at home

The Golden State Warriors (36-33, 33-34-2 ATS) came back home from a three-game road trip on which they suffered all three defeats. The Warriors responded with victories over the two contenders – Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Following an overtime win against the Bucks, Golden State beat the Suns 123-112 thanks to a fantastic first-quarter display; the Warriors won that period by 22 points. Steve Kerr’s team shot 54.2% from the field and limited the visitors to just four three-pointers while making 19 on the other end.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with a game-high 38 points and five rebounds. Stephen Curry had 27 points, seven boards, and five assists, Jordan Poole scored 20 points with team-high six dishes, while Donte DiVincenzo contributed ten points.

SF Andrew Wiggins (personal) and SG Gary Payton II (abdomen) are out indefinitely. SF Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) is questionable to face Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Clippers are moving up

The Los Angeles Clippers (36-33, 34-35-0 ATS) went through a rough period during which they suffered five consecutive losses but managed to respond with three wins in a row. The Clippers opened their five-game home stand with three victories over the Grizzlies, Raptors, and Knicks. In the latest win against the New York Knicks, the Clippers displayed one of their best defensive performances this season. Los Angeles limited the visitors to 35.6% from the floor and shot 48.3% in return to celebrate a 106-95 win.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with a game-high 38 points and four rebounds. Paul George had 22 points, team-high eight boards, and game-high eight assists, Marcus Morris scored 11 points with five rebounds, while Eric Gordon added ten points.

SF Norman Powell (shoulder) is out indefinitely and will not feature on Wednesday against the Warriors.

Trends:

Golden State:

  • 16-34-1 ATS in the last 51 road games
  • 0-3-1 ATS in the last four Wednesday games

Los Angeles:

  • 27-8-1 ATS in the last 36 games playing on three or more days of rest
  • 5-2 ATS in the last seven games following a straight-up win of more than ten points

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers Pick

While they are one of the best home teams in the NBA, the Warriors are criminally bad on the road and are one of the worst teams in the league in that regard. That’s unacceptable for the reigning champions, but that’s the fact, and that’s why I am backing the Clippers to win and tie the season series at 2-2. The Clippers won three consecutive home games, while the Warriors lost each of their previous eight on the road. I am backing a home-court advantage and a stronger defense in this one; the Clippers allow 112.5 points per game opposite the Warriors’ 117.5 points per contest.

Pick: Take the Clippers at -1.5 (-120)

The Total

Golden State’s road defense has been catastrophic this season; only over the last seven road games, they allowed 124+ points in six of them. From the best defensive team last year, the Warriors became one of the weakest in that segment, and that’s why I usually back Over when they are playing away from home. The Clippers already scored 134 points in a lone H2H in Los Angeles this season. Over is 9-4 in the last 13 H2H meetings in Los Angeles; Over is 4-0 in the Clippers’ previous four games following a straight-up win of more than ten points, while Over is 3-0-1 in the Warriors’ last four overall.

Pick: Go Over 231.5 points (-133)
