An action-packed night awaits us in the NBA as we have 15 games on the schedule, and this divisional rivalry game is one of them, so make sure you take a look at the best Kings vs. Warriors betting pick and odds.

Golden State is desperate to avoid the sixth consecutive defeat when they welcome Sacramento at Chase Center. The Warriors are -7.5 favorites on Jazz Sportsbook, while the total is set at 230.5 points. These Pacific Division foes already faced once this season and the Warriors won that game 130-125 at home.

Kings edged the Magic in OT

The Sacramento Kings (3-5, 5-3-0 ATS) won three of the last four games and returned to California from a three-game road trip on the East. The Kings bounced back from a tight defeat to the Miami Heat with a 126-123 overtime victory against the Orlando Magic. De’Aaron Fox first forced OT and then beat the buzzer from near midcourt to hand a W to the Kings. Sacramento was better from downtown as they hit 15 triples opposite Orlando’s four. That was the biggest difference in this game.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 37 points and five rebounds. Domantas Sabonis posted a double-double of 25 points, team-high 11 boards, and team-high six assists, while Malik Monk and Trey Lyles scored 15 points apiece.

Head coach Mike Brown doesn’t have any injury-related concerns and has all of the players healthy and at his disposal for Monday’s game against Golden State.

Warriors are back home from a disastrous road trip

The Golden State Warriors (3-7, 3-7-0 ATS) are, to say it mildly, the most unpleasant surprise of the NBA season thus far. The reigning champions endured a road trip from hell and suffered five consecutive defeats, losing to such teams as Charlotte, Detroit, and Orlando along the way. Golden State lost all six games on the road so far, but they will host Sacramento in this one and hope for a better outcome.

The most recent 114-105 loss came to the New Orleans Pelicans. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins were all rested, so the fans will likely forgive the Warriors this defeat. Still, committing 23 turnovers is not going to win you games. Jordan Poole led the team with 20 points, game-high nine assists, and two steals. Ty Jerome added 18 points, team-high six rebounds, and five dimes, Jonathan Kuminga chipped in 18 points, four boards, and two thefts, while Anthony Lamb had 16 points and game-high three steals.

SG Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) and SF Andre Iguodala (hip) are out indefinitely and will not play on Monday against Sacramento.

Trends:

Sacramento:

  • 1-4 ATS in the last five games vs. a team with a losing straight-up record
  • 1-3-1 ATS in the last five road games vs. a team with a winning home record

Golden State:

  • 5-0 ATS in the last five home games following a road trip of seven or more days
  • 14-5 ATS in the last 19 home games

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors Pick

Following a catastrophic road trip, the Warriors will have to bounce back at home, where they already beat the Kings earlier in the season. With Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins back in the fold after being rested in New Orleans, the hosts shouldn’t have problems with the Kings, who are improving lately, to be honest. These divisional rivals will meet again on Sunday in Sacramento, and that will be another story, but in this one, I am backing the Warriors to win and cover. It’s not going to be easy after five consecutive losses, but this team has a championship pedigree and quality, so I am sure Curry and co. will get a W.

Pick: Take the Warriors at -5.5 (-135)

The Total

Golden State has the 4th best offense in the NBA which is scoring 117.4 points per game, while Sacramento is currently 12th with 114.9 ppg. On the other hand, the Warriors have the worst defense in the league which is allowing 121.4 ppg, while the Kings are 24th in that regard with 116.9 ppg allowed to their rivals. Both teams are among the bottom 10 when it comes to defensive rating, but the Warriors are top of the league in pace with 103.0 possessions per 48 minutes. Expect a lot of points here. Over is 8-3 in the Kings’ last 11 games playing on one day of rest; Over is 7-2-1 in the Warriors’ previous ten overall, while Over is 4-0 in Golden State’s last four home games.

Pick: Go Over 228.5 points (-120)
