Wynn Racebook & SportsBook
When anyone hears the name Wynn it automatically invokes thoughts of the modern Vegas sprinkled with the old style that made Vegas popular. Casino magnate and namesake Steve Wynn has personally transformed the landscape of the gaming world be developing new properties and luxury in Vegas. Wynn took it to an entirely new level when he opened the Wynn sportsbook in 2005.
The Wynn sportsbook is known as a “boutique hotel” that caters to all types of players. The Wynn is small in comparison to some of the other mega sportsbooks in Las Vegas, but it offers top-notch service and quality concern for the client. It starts small with a full service bar connected to a full service restaurant right within the sports book. However, if you sit at the bar, even if you’re playing, expect to pay full price. If you want you’re gaming to work for you the full service betting windows will hand out drink tickets with a minimum wager of $100 and the wait staff will be more than happy to help you out.
That ticket price is very steep but the sports betting tellers are pretty flexible and will often slip you an extra drink ticket if they see you are spending time at the sports book. The wait staff is always eager to get you a drink quick when needed.
There is never a wait for a friendly and helpful member of the Wynn wait staff regardless of the time of day. Which brings us to the non-stop action and comfort of the watching area. This is, seat-for-seat, one of the most comfortable Sunday NFL experiences in the entire city. The atmosphere is cozy, roomy and comfortable. From the personal booths with mini monitors equipped to the spacious wide open seating, there is not a bad location in the house. They did not spare any expense on the luxury for the sports book.
The seating is full leather chairs with plenty of room and comfort with a full swivel to allow for the best viewing of the multiple televisions and score tickers throughout the sports book. Wynn spared no expense with the hardware either. The 37 plasma TVs and three 12-foot-by-12-foot big screens are top-of-the-line and crystal clear to watch.
While the Wynn takes all of the normal sports betting options they also offer unique wagering action only available at the Wynn sports book. The book offers the usual straight bets, money lines and totals wagers, as well as propositions and futures on all major sporting events, including NASCAR, tennis, golf and soccer. Where they are unique is in their horse racing future bets. The Wynn sportsbook is the first and still the only one sportsbook in Las Vegas to offer future horse racing wagering. The horse racing future bets, include major racing events like the Breeders’ Cup and the Kentucky Derby.
The Wynn Sports book is easily one of the nicest sports book in all of Las Vegas. If the atmosphere you crave is a comfortable and well put together book, then the Wynn is your only choice.
