Dime Line Sportsbook
The sportsbook search can be a tremendous undertaking for the sports bettor that wants to find a new home to bet on sports. They have to make sure that it is safe, has a solid reputation and offer great betting perks for all of their players. This may seem like an easy task, but it is not.
Take Dime Line Sportsbook for example. They have been in business since 2000 and they offer up a 100 percent cash bonus for new players that want to sign up at this sports betting site that is located in Curacao. The website also says all the right things. Dime Line is fully licensed by the Government of Curacao Netherlands Antilles so it gives off the feel of safety for all of their new players as they are backed by the government.
They claim that customer support is a major focus of Dime Line. They say that they strive to provide a personalized customer service staff that knows your account and cares about making your experience and that they make sports betting entertaining and fun. Yet the customer service staff is limited at best and they are only open from 9 AM ET to 1 AM ET daily. They do have the live chat feature which allows their clients to get in touch with their players quickly, but without being open around the clock it is tough for players to always reach out and get help.
They have a rewards plan which is always popular with new sports betting sites. The Club Cash system allows Dime Line Sports customers to collect free bonus points based on the amount of their wagering activity which they compare to the “comp” programs found in major land based casinos to include Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Players receive 1 point for every $1 wagered in the Casino and Sportsbook. Players can redeem their points for Free and Real money rewards but those rewards will often be overpriced and come with huge rollovers when they play the free cash.
Even the promotions come with strings. If you deposit $100 or more into your account you will get a free parlay in the amount of 10 percent of your deposit amount. The parlay must be wagered on at least a three team parlay to qualify. The bonus funds must be used on a parlay or the promotion is void, but betting on a parlay is not the best way to use your money and many other sportsbooks do not have restrictions this hefty on a bonus.
The other problem with this sports betting site is that they have had problems paying their players in the past. Even one problem paying a winning customer is too much in this business. They have also closed accounts that have went on good runs and only paid out a portion of the winnings on certain accounts.
If you sign up at a sports betting site you deserve to get paid and you deserve to have a customer service team that is ready to help around the clock and for those reasons you should not sign up at Dime Line Sportsbook.
