One of the books most commonly suggested as a MyBookie alternative appears to run on the same platform. Here is how to tell a genuine alternative from the same company wearing a different name.

The point of a second sportsbook is having a second opinion on the price. If the alternative you open is running the same platform, taking the same lines and answering to the same people, you have not diversified anything. You have opened a second window onto the same book.

That is a live problem in the offshore market, and this page starts there.

Check whether it is actually a different company

MyBookie and Xbet appear to share infrastructure

We compared the two operators’ own published pages. Their banking pages match on non-obvious specifics: the same card deposit range, the same person-to-person limits, the same $20 crypto minimum across the same ten coins, and the same wording on payout processing. Both also run their help centres on the same hosted knowledge base.

We want to be precise about what that does and does not establish. It demonstrates shared platform and operator infrastructure. It does not amount to documented common ownership, because no regulator or court filing we could find states that. But if you are opening Xbet because MyBookie limited you or was slow to pay, you should know the two are not obviously independent.

This is not unique to those two. The clearest documented case in the offshore market is BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag, which Michigan’s gaming regulator listed together in April 2026 and annotated as belonging to the same poker network. When a state regulator names two books as one operation, that is about as confirmed as it gets.

The practical test before you open any alternative: compare the banking pages side by side. If the deposit minimums, the crypto list and the payout wording all match, you are probably looking at one operator.

Why are you leaving?

ReasonWhat matters in the replacement
LimitedBusiness model rather than brand. Books built on recreational volume restrict fastest. See which sportsbooks limit winners.
Slow payoutPublished processing windows, per-withdrawal caps and weekly frequency limits. MyBookie publishes a 48-hour processing target for verified customers and a per-withdrawal Bitcoin ceiling of $5,000, with one withdrawal per method per week.
Bonus would not clearRollover multiplier, not bonus size. MyBookie’s standard sports rollover is 10x on deposit plus bonus, and casino, live dealer and horse wagers do not count toward it.
Want better pricesSpread pricing and how early lines post, which is where the offshore market genuinely differentiates.

What MyBookie publishes, and what it does not

Worth knowing before you compare anything against it.

Published and checkable: crypto deposits from $20 across ten coins, cards from $45 to $2,500, a 48-hour payout processing target for verified customers, a $5,000 per-withdrawal Bitcoin ceiling, one withdrawal per method per week, a $100,000 daily maximum win, a 10x bonus rollover on deposit plus bonus, and an 8 percent horse racing rebate on qualifying tracks with no rollover attached.

Not published: which US states are excluded. MyBookie’s terms place that responsibility on the customer rather than listing restrictions. Its own about page also gives a founding year that is clearly wrong.

That second point is worth generalising, because it applies to most of the market. Of the eight major offshore books we checked, only two publish a US state exclusion list. Any page telling you MyBookie is banned in a specific set of states is almost certainly repeating an affiliate claim rather than an operator statement. Check with the operator directly.

The regulatory picture

We would rather you heard this from us than found it later.

MyBookie has been the subject of state regulatory action. Michigan’s gaming board issued a cease and desist order in January 2025. Tennessee fined it $50,000 in April 2025 for continuing to operate after a cease and desist. Florida, Mississippi and Rhode Island have all named it in enforcement activity during 2025.

Context matters here, and it cuts both ways. Almost every offshore book serving US customers has been through some version of this. Tennessee alone has fined seven of the eight major offshore operators we reviewed. So the presence of enforcement action does not distinguish one book from another very much.

What it does tell you is that the operator is outside US jurisdiction, that state regulators cannot help you recover funds, and that access can change without notice. That is the actual risk with offshore betting, and we go through it properly in is offshore betting safe.

How to compare a replacement

  • Confirm it is a different operator. Compare banking pages. Matching crypto minimums and identical payout wording are the tell.
  • Check state coverage with the operator. Most do not publish it, so ask support before depositing rather than trusting a list.
  • Read the deposit rollover term. Several major offshore books apply a one-times rollover to plain deposits with no bonus claimed. Find it before you fund the account.
  • Compare withdrawal ceilings, not just speed. A fast payout capped at $5,000 per request with one request a week is a different product from a fast payout capped at $25,000 a day.
  • Compare rollover multipliers rather than bonus headlines. A 10x requirement on deposit plus bonus is a lot of wagering.
  • Check the limit profile in your markets. The bet slip is the only figure that binds.

Our sportsbook rankings, payout speed rankings and MyBookie review cover the detail.

Questions people ask

Are MyBookie and Xbet the same company?

Their own published banking pages match on card limits, person-to-person limits, the crypto minimum and coin list, and payout wording, and both run their help centres on the same hosted knowledge base. That establishes shared platform infrastructure. No regulator or court filing we found states common ownership, so we would not go further than that, but they are not obviously independent.

What are the best MyBookie alternatives?

It depends why you are leaving. If it was limits, the relevant factor is the replacement’s business model rather than its brand. If it was payout ceilings, compare per-withdrawal caps and weekly frequency limits rather than headline speed. Whatever you choose, confirm it is a genuinely separate operator first.

Which states does MyBookie not accept?

MyBookie does not publish a US state exclusion list. Its terms place responsibility on the customer to determine applicable law. Any specific list you find is almost certainly an affiliate claim rather than an operator statement, so check with the operator directly.

Has MyBookie faced regulatory action?

Yes. Michigan issued a cease and desist in January 2025 and Tennessee fined it $50,000 in April 2025, with Florida, Mississippi and Rhode Island also naming it during 2025. This is common across the offshore market rather than unique, but it reflects the underlying risk of operators outside US jurisdiction.
