Week 12 of the NFL will conclude with this conference battle in Indianapolis on Monday, November 28, and here you can take a look at the best Steelers vs. Colts betting pick and odds.

Both Pittsburgh and Indianapolis are hoping to return to winning ways when they meet at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts are -2.5 favorites on Jazz Sportsbook, while the total is set at 39 points. These AFC rivals haven’t met since 2020 when the Steelers won 28-24 in Pittsburgh.

Steelers couldn’t hold the Bengals despite a good first half

The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-7-0, 4-5-1 ATS) came off a bye week and beat the New Orleans Saints, displaying their best defensive performance of the season, but that defense vanished in the very next game. Pittsburgh suffered a 37-30 defeat to the divisional foes Cincinnati Bengals at home, although the hosts played well in the opening half. The Steelers had a 20-17 lead at the interval, but the visitors switched to a higher gear in the second 30 minutes and Pittsburgh couldn’t keep up with them.

Kenny Pickett completed 25 of 42 passes for 265 yards and a touchdown. George Pickens was on the receiving end of that TD pass and he also led the team with 83 yards on four receptions. Pat Freiermuth contributed with 79 yards on eight catches, while on the ground, Najee Harris was excellent with a game-high 90 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. On defense, Myles Jack led the Steelers with nine tackles.

K Chris Boswell (groin) is out indefinitely. CB Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring), C Mason Cole (foot), WR Miles Boykin (oblique), and RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) are questionable to play on Monday against Indianapolis.

Colts felt short of the Eagles at home

The Indianapolis Colts (4-6-1, 5-6-0 ATS) snapped a three-game losing skid with a 25-20 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders but fell short of the Philadelphia Eagles in the next game at home. Indianapolis had a 13-3 lead entering the fourth quarter; however, the visitors scored a pair of touchdowns to snatch a 17-16 victory.

Matt Ryan completed 23 of 32 passes for 213 yards. Jonathan Taylor led the team in rushing yards with 84 and a touchdown on 22 carries. Michael Pittman Jr. and Parris Campbell combined for 142 receiving yards on 11 catches. The defense was very solid and kept the Eagles’ offense in check for most of the game. Yannick Ngakoue registered 1.5 sacks, while Zaire Franklin was outstanding with a game-high 13 tackles.

LB Shaquille Leonard (back) and P Rigoberto Sanchez (Achilles) are out indefinitely. DE Kwity Paye (ankle) and TE Jelani Woods (shoulder) are questionable to face the Steelers on Monday.

Trends:

Pittsburgh:

  • 3-7 ATS in the last ten road games
  • 2-7-1 ATS in the last ten vs. a team with a losing record
  • 1-4-1 ATS in the last six vs. AFC rivals

Indianapolis:

  • 7-3 ATS in the last ten games following a straight-up loss

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts Pick

The improvement in Indianapolis’ game is evident after Jeff Saturday’s appointment as interim head coach. He won his first game in charge and then nearly upset the best team in the NFL, so I think the Colts shouldn’t have problems beating the Steelers on MNF. Pittsburgh has one of the weakest defenses in the league that is allowing 24.4 points per game, while Indianapolis’ D is just outside the top 10 with 20.0 ppg allowed to the opponents. I am backing the Colts’ defense to prevail, while I am also going with Matt Ryan’s experience in a matchup versus rookie QB Kenny Pickett. Ryan is good enough to exploit Pittsburgh’s disastrous secondary which has been the worst in the league with 272.1 yards per game to the opposing receivers.

Pick: Take the Colts at -2.5 (-110)

The Total

These teams have among the least efficient offenses in football. Indianapolis is 31st in that regard with just 15.7 ppg, while Pittsburgh is 28th with 17.0 ppg. The Colts scored more than 16 points just once in the last five games, but they also managed to keep the rivals to 20 or fewer points in four of those five. Under is 4-1 in the last five H2H meetings in Indianapolis; Under is 6-1 in the Steelers’ previous seven games following an ATS loss, while Under is 14-2 in the Colts’ last 16 games overall.

Pick: Go Under 40.5 points (-133)
