NFL fans always look forward to the start of the new season. Preseason ratings are probably going to set records. Gamblers will be happy to have something other than darts and ping pong to bet on. Sportsbooks typically have tons of fun options for NFL fans to bet along with betting on individual games.

Some books, like JazzSports.ag, will let you bet on who will win more games throughout the regular season—and with a spread:

NFL 2020-21 Regular Season Wins—Team vs. Team

  • San Francisco 49ers +1 -110
  • Kansas City Chiefs -1 -130

The Chiefs will once again have one of the best offenses in the league this year, barring a severe injury to Patrick Mahomes. Their defense improved as the season went on last season, and if it can continue to get better this year, they will have no trouble covering the over on their win total (11.5).

But to win this bet, they need to win two more than the 49ers—who won one more game than the Chiefs did last season.

San Francisco is going to have one of the best defenses in the NFL once again, but their offense is going to be somewhat of a question mark. The 49ers offense will likely be a good one once again, but they won five games by less than a touchdown last year. Don’t expect them to be as lucky this season.

Then again, all three losses were by a touchdown or less as well.

NFL 2020-21 Regular Season Wins—Team vs. Team

  • Cincinnati Bengals +3 -120
  • Cleveland Browns -3 -120

This season, the Cleveland Browns expectations will likely be what they should have been last year– they’ll be good but far from great. It is a team loaded with talent and potential once again. But will Kevin Stefanski do a better job of putting the team together than Freddie Kitchens? It will be pretty hard for him to do worse.

Much like the Browns, the success of the Bengals will depend a lot on their head coach, Zac Taylor. After a busy offseason, the talent on the roster has been seriously upgraded. But if Taylor can’t get everyone on the same page, the Bengals might have the No. 1 pick next year.

NFL 2020-21 Regular Season Wins—Team vs. Team

  • Philadelphia Eagles PK -120
  • Dallas Cowboys PK -120

In the Cowboys, you have an immensely talented team that has become notorious for underperforming. As for the Eagles, expectations have remained high ever since Carson Wentz looked like an MVP back in 2017. But an injury killed his campaign, and he just hasn’t been as good since.

However, with the addition they made in the offseason, hopes are high.

Dallas will not be easy to beat, though. The offense has the potential to set records this season. They may need to since there is no telling what the defense is going to look like.

So—how should you bet?

Take the 49ers at +1. Both teams are excellent, and it would not be shocking if they both finished 12-4 or 13-3 this season. As tempting as it is to take the Bengals at +3, the Browns are a 9-7 team this season. Cincinnati will be lucky to win five.

Mike McCarthy will have the Cowboys playing well this season. They’ll finish with double-digit wins while the Eagles will struggle to win nine.
